چکیده
Aims: The aim of the study was to investigate effectiveness four isolates native Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungus (AMF) in improving pepper plant yield as well assess their potential for control nematodes.
Study Design: experimental set up consisted a Completely Randomized Block Design with 5 treatments corresponding AMF– BEN10, GM142, 472, and WA330 – tested comparison untreated plants treatment.
Place Duration Study: conducted 2020 from June September « at Research Station Faculty Agronomy, University Lomé, Togo».
Methodology: seeds were inoculated AMF nursery. Six weeks after, seedlings transplanted on 3mx6m beds. Several growth parameters such number leaves branches, height, flower buds fruit weight recorded each three after transplantation. Nematode density assessed times (before transplanting, flowering, during fruiting, last harvest fruits).
Results: increased significantly marketable by 39%, reduced root nematode 20-34%. A positive correlation (P<0.0001; r = 0.816) observed between mycorrhization frequency intensity, former varied 70% 91% latter 60% 85%. leaves, branches not affected inoculation.
Conclusion: present showed be considered alternative candidate chemical fertilizers pesticides sustainable production sweet Togo.

Interactions between native arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and phosphate solubilizing fungi and their effect to improve plant development and fruit production by Capsicum annuum L
A study was performed to determine the effect of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungal inoculation, using a locally isolated Claroideoglomus claroideum (Gc) ecotype, on the seedling development of chilean pepper plants, and to select an appropriate growth substrate. The first experiment consisted of two stages: (i) a seedling production stage of pepper plants were germinated and grown, inoculated ...
متن کاملOvipositional deterrent on mature stage of sweet pepper, Capsicum annuum, against Liriomyza trifolii (Burgess).
Liriomyza trifolii (Burgess), the American serpentine leafminer fly, is a well-known serious pest in the world. This insect species attacks plants of more than 21 families including Solanaceae plants. A sweet pepper, Capsicum annuum (Solanaceae), on mature stage, however, shows resistance to this leafminer fly. This resistance is based on the ovipositional deterrent in the sweet pepper leaf aga...

Objectives: Sweet peppers Capsicum annuum L. (C. annuum) are an excellent source of vitamins A and C as well as phenolic compounds, which are important antioxidant components that may reduce the risk of diseases. The objective of this study was to evaluate their antioxidant activity under various temperatures. Materials and Methods: To compare the antioxidant activity in various temperatures (2...

The effects of three Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) species (Glomus versiforme, Claroideoglomus etunicatum and Rhizophagus intraradices) were studied on the growth parameters and nutrient uptake of three apple rootstocks (M.9, M.7 and MM.106). The soil medium contained a high level of calcium carbonate (38.65%). The results showed that AMF inoculation could increase almost all growth parame...
متن کاملSweet Pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) Canopy Photosynthesis Modeling Using 3D Plant Architecture and Light Ray-Tracing
Canopy photosynthesis has typically been estimated using mathematical models that have the following assumptions: the light interception inside the canopy exponentially declines with the canopy depth, and the photosynthetic capacity is affected by light interception as a result of acclimation. However, in actual situations, light interception in the canopy is quite heterogenous depending on env...
